MBSR-Long Island - A Place for the Exploration of Mindfulness & Stress Management

4-Week Mindfulness Meditation Workshop
Four foundational classes that build upon each other to review and deepen the essential elements of mindfulness meditation.  Practice guidance in sitting and walking meditation, body scans,  mindful yoga and loving-kindness.  This sequence of classes are a good way to begin, and/or strengthen, your practice.

Deepening Your Practice Classes  (DYP)
Single classes for MBSR graduates and those with some prior meditation experience designed to deepen your home practice of mindfulness.  Classes are based around a theme, decided each week, and include guided instruction in a variety of mindfulness practices:  sitting, walking, mindful yoga & yoga nidra, mindful self compassion (MSC), and inquiry into experience.  Come to re-start, renew and strengthen your practice!

A structured 8-week course that teaches mindfulness meditation as a way to take better care of yourself, build resilience and live a healthier, more adaptive life.  
Instead of reacting to stress in habitual ways, you can learn to respond with new and constructive strategies.  Consider joining us as we practice together in a supportive and nurturing environment.
