In the Barn & Field at Avalon Park & Preserve

Thursdays 5:30-8:00pm

A structured 8-week course that teaches mindfulness meditation as a way to take better care of yourself, build resilience and live a healthier, more adaptive life.  Instead of reacting to stress in habitual ways, you can learn to respond with new and constructive strategies. Join us this Winter-
Spring as we practice together in a supportive and nurturing environment.

Beginning Mindfulness Meditation Workshops
Foundational classes that review the essential elements of mindfulness meditation and provide beginning practice instruction.  These classes are a good way to begin, or strengthen, your home practice.
Dates: THURSDAYS from 5:30 – 7:30pm  
Single classes on:
  • January 18
  • February 15
  • A two-class series on: August 09 and 16

Fee:  $25 for single classes
         $45 for the August series

Deepening Your Practice Classes  (DYP)
Single classes for MBSR graduates and those with some prior meditation experience designed to deepen your home practice of mindfulness.  Classes are based around a theme, decided each week, and include guided instruction in a variety of mindfulness practices:  sitting, walking, mindful yoga & yoga nidra, mindful self compassion (MSC), and inquiry into experience.  Come to one or to all!
